Our December 2009 Entrepreneur’s Forum event on “Boostrapping Vs. Venture Funding” was not only our most popular event ever (over 130 attended), it also got some of the most visceral feedback. Some people felt it their favorite ULS event ever and the best treatment of the topic they’d seen. Others felt it was a disgraceful, disrespectful waste of time. Please share your opinion in the comments!

I think it was a really REALLY fun evening, debating two sides one can use to get your startup off the ground.
The next panel you do Graham, should be about bootstrapping processes and tools – you know – how to create the ULTRA LIGHT STARTUP.
Cheers

I really enjoyed how fearless Dennis was against those guys. They really became defensive. I wish though that there was less of a divide and the panelists worked together to really nail what is the right approach at every step. I am now entirely bootstrapping semanticvalley.com with my team and it is NOT easy. I wish Dennis was able to discuss more of the bootstrapping experiences.

Fearless indeed. I imagine having his track record helps with the courage
We had a panel in May on some of the more practical aspects of bootstrapping. The video for that one is online (see link).

We will definitely have more bootstrapping related panels in the future. Do you have an idea of what topics in particular, you'd like to have covered?
Graham.

Hey Dennis,
Well I assure you the audience had fun watching. No doubt the most provocative panel to date.
Great idea for the next panel. We'll have you back to speak on it. This time you just have to promise not to hold back your opinions
Graham.
