Local Chapters

Ultra Light Startups was founded in New York in 2008.  We expanded to Boston in 2010 and Toronto, Cleveland and Austin, TX in 2011.  These local chapters host monthly events concurrent with the event in New York.  Local events feature local startup pitches, speakers and networking plus live, interactive, video simulcasts of the pitches and panel from New York.

Benefits of organizing a local chapter of Ultra Light Startups include:

  • Personal networking and personal brand building
  • Brand building, lead generation, and networking for your company/organization
  • Revenues (through sponsorship and/or attendance fees)

Pre-requisites for opening a new chapter include:

  • A venue – must have sufficient seating capacity, A/V and Internet facilities
  • A lead organizer – ideally an active startup community leader with experience organizing events
  • Assistant organizers – to help with organization, marketing, and as a backup for the lead organizer

If you would like to host an event in your city, email chapters@ultralightstartups.com for more details.
