Community Partners are organizations that have startups as “members” (incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces, etc).  Members of our Community Partners get streamlined access to our pitch events (discount codes to apply to pitch, etc).  If you’d like to become an Ultra Light Community partner, send an email to community-partner@ultralightstartups.com.

NYU-Poly started BEST, its first business incubator, at its downtown Brooklyn campus in 2004. In 2009 the partnered with New York City to open a second incubator, Varick Street, in Manhattan as as part of Mayor Bloomberg’s Five Borough Economic Opportunity Plan. In 2009 they also began NYC ACRE, our incubator focused on supporting the efforts of clean-technology-oriented companies.
